Open a .PSD file. Keep the layers.

Most of us have years of PSDs. Starting over is not an option.

Layers stay layers

Drop a PSD or PSB onto the canvas and its layers come in as layers you can select, hide, and edit.

And the rest

SVGs come in with editable paths and text. PNG, JPEG, WebP, and TIFF drop straight onto the canvas. Color people can load .cube LUTs to grade photos.

Limitations

Some layered formats, like XCF and KRA, are not readable yet. You get a clear message instead of a half-broken import. PDF import is on the list too. PDF export already works.
